Food
Hunger and malnutrition continue to impact millions of families worldwide. In the United States, poverty and inflation force many households to struggle for even one daily meal, despite the fact that millions of tons of food are wasted each year.
Saving Children Across Nations (SCAN) is committed to fighting hunger through sustainable solutions. We support local farmers in Africa by providing education, resources, and long-term investment to help communities grow more food and build stronger food systems.
SCAN also prioritizes nutrition, especially for children who are most vulnerable to malnutrition and diet-related illness. By providing healthy food access and teaching families the importance of proper nutrition, we work to ensure every child has the opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive.
Health
Health is a basic human right, yet many families across the world still lack access to affordable medical care. In the United States, millions remain uninsured, while in Africa, shortages of facilities, medication, and equipment contribute to preventable deaths.
SCAN helps bridge these gaps through partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations. We work to deliver essential medical support, preventive care, sanitation education, and resources to children and families most in need.

Shelter
